Our company is named after Bayard Lamar Shirah, our grandfather. He was a man of quiet strength, practical skill, and deep conviction. A natural builder with a servant’s heart, Bayard believed in putting his hands to work for something greater than himself—whether it was constructing a home, solving a problem for a neighbor, or simply showing up with honesty and grit, day in and day out.
We founded this company with those same principles in mind: to build with purpose, lead with integrity, and leave behind something we’re proud of. His name reminds us that construction isn’t just about machines and materials—it’s about people, community, and doing the right thing when no one’s looking.
