As a Foreman at Bayard Construction Group, you’ll lead field crews in the daily execution of civil construction work. From trenching and grading to utility installation and paving prep, you’ll ensure crews are safe, productive, and building to plan.

This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role—ideal for someone who leads by example, communicates clearly, and knows how to drive quality from the front line. You’ll play a key role in scheduling, task delegation, and maintaining momentum on active sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise field crews on daily construction tasks

  • Coordinate with equipment operators, laborers, and pipe layers

  • Interpret drawings and layout work per project plans

  • Monitor quality, production rates, and safety compliance

  • Communicate daily with the Site Supervisor or Project Manager

  • Train new crew members and enforce site expectations

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of field leadership in heavy civil construction

  • Deep understanding of grading, utility, and sitework processes

  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and set grades

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
